About Maitland® Concept

The Maitland® manual therapy concept encompasses a comprehensive clinical and theoretical process. It begins with precise examination, differential diagnosis, specialized tests and manual therapy techniquesleading to the development of treatment protocols and the selection of appropriate manual therapy techniques.

By mastering manual therapy techniques and carefully adjusting tailored exercise programs, physiotherapists can accurately assess and improve the neuromusculoskeletal system and related dysfunctions of their patients.

The Maitland® manual therapy concept is designed to ensure that manual therapy meets the highest standards and is applied with precision.

A key priority of the Maitland® concept is the training of highly skilled specialistsand the use of high-quality, safe manual therapy in patient care. Therefore, a knowledge assessment is required at the end of each training module.
